President's Message

As Digital Dynamics, Inc. celebrates its 34th year, I recall the early 1970's when we built and programmed some of the very first microcomputer-based industrial controllers. As young engineers in an emerging industry, we struggled to solve a wide spectrum of problems never anticipated by our educators or predecessors. We met those challenges with unique and creative responses and learned to successfully apply leading-edge technologies in reliable hardware and software.

Today, those skills are the foundation of our success as a quality product manufacturer who takes pride in our ability to create high value electronic products competitive with the best in the world. I am proud of our accomplishments and prouder still to be leading this impressive team of technologists into the next century.

Company History

Digital Dynamics was started in late 1974 as a technology spin-off of another company, intended to capitalize on digital valve technology pioneered by James Jerde. Over the years, DDI has evoloved into a multi-product supplier of end user and OEM computer equipment.

Digital Dynamics' core business is based on sophisticated engineering, high quality manufacturing and aggressive customer support. DDI manufactures a broad product line of innovative OEM control System Products, Industrial Computers and power boxes.

DDI is located in Scotts Valley, CA., where both the corporate headquarters and most of the manufacturing are located. DDI uses a comprehensive computerized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System to help manage all aspects of its operations. DDI is well positioned to meet customer expectations and efficiently grow our business.

Engineering

Members of the product development team at Digital Dynamics collectively have hundreds of years experience in embedded software, electronic, electrical, mechanical engineering and manufacturing.

Manufacturing

Our manufacturing team is comprised of motivated technical experts crosstrained to provide both quality products and an unwavering commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Maintaining a high level of production control ensures quality products that will perform properly in a wide range of operating environments.

Materials Management

Working closely with vendors, our supply chain management team supports the manufacturing process by insuring quality components and on-time delivery. Components pass through an automated Darts inventory tracking system to keep all aspects of the operation running smoothly.

Shipping and Receiving

Our packaging is as rugged and reliable as our computers. Containers are designed for both domestic and international freight by our shipping department, assuring a damage-free product. Incoming shipments of components are documented and tested by our receiving department, guaranteeing only quality products reach our manufacturing facility.

Accounting Administration

Taking care of day-to-day business, our dedicated financial and administrative staff coordinates internal communications and accounting functions to support the corporate team.
