Sale of ToughStation Line

Scotts Valley, CA, June 4, 2007 - James B. Jerde, President of Digital Dynamics Inc., (DDI), Scotts Valley, CA announced this week that the company has completed the sale of its ToughStation product line to VarTech Systems, Inc., Baton Rouge, LA.
DDI will continue to build the ToughCube computer cores and supply them to VarTech who will build the finished products. DDI will also continue to sell ToughCube computer cores to other OEM customers.
Effective immediately, Vartech has assumed responsibility for all new orders for ToughStation computers and monitors. Each company will be responsible for providing full customer warranty service for the units it manufacturers.
VarTech Systems, Inc. is expanding manufacturing capability in their Pennsylvania and North Carolina Facilities as well as adding sales and support staff in their Baton Rouge Headquarters to support the expanding product line.
Management of DDI and VarTech agree that the sale and transfer of responsibility for building the ToughStation product line is a good business decision for both companies and their customers.
VarTech Systems, Inc. is a seasoned manufacturer of rugged displays and computers for industrial and harsh environment applications. Its product line has included DDI's ToughStation Products for the last two years. By taking over full responsibility for the ToughStation line, VarTech will be in a position to use its extensive in-house engineering, manufacturing and test capabilities to improve and expand the product line.
Selling the ToughStation product line will allow DDI to focus on its primary OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) business and products. The company has an extensive family of technically sophisticated, custom and proprietary computer and controller products for the semiconductor equipment industry and similar businesses.
DDI has a proven team of electrical and software engineers with a seasoned supply chain and resource base that allows them to support customers with extremely rapid circuit board development, mechanical design and production implementation. DDI will expand its business with OEM customers to develop new, or improve existing products. Most of DDI's products are manufactured at it's headquarter facilities in Scotts Valley, California.
