Senior Accounting Specialist
Full time, direct hire

Role Description
The Senior Accounting Specialist will play an important role in the accounting function at Digital Dynamics and will work closely with the Finance VP.  To be successful the Senior Accounting Specialist needs to be able to provide a wide range of accounting support, and be able to offer process improvement suggestions.  This requires initiative and a significant amount of judgment making correct account adjustments and allocations.

Essential Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable
•    Manage customer accounts including verifying sales orders, daily invoicing, and generating bi-monthly statements for customers
•    Record all checks, EFT, and post payments
•    Manage detail aging and collection of customer accounts
•    Responsible for electronic filing of invoices and processing credit memos
•    Research and offer opinion on new customer accounts

Accounts Payable
•    Audit invoices against purchase orders, report discrepancies
•    Investigate problems that vendors have with obtaining payment
•    Compute and record charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods and freight charges
•    Monitor accounts payable to ensure payments are up to date
•    Process weekly check runs

General Accounting
•    Keep track of expense accruals
•    Record monthly journal entries
•    Assist with 1099s at year end
•    Assist with year-end audit by preparing various GL account analyses, pulling invoices, and investigating discrepancies
•    Assist with quarterly sales & use tax returns
•    Assist with month end close, making sure accounts have been reviewed for accuracy
•    Prepare various GL account analyses

Addition duties
•    Assist employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services
•    Assist with payroll by collecting timesheets, maintaining/reconciling PTO spreadsheet.  Reminding employees to approve punches, work with employees to correct punches and timecards
•    Greet visitors, answers the telephone
•    Order office supplies and maintains supply rooms, monitor postage meter

The successful candidate will possess a college degree (or equivalent experience) as well a proven track record in accounting.

Hardware Engineer

Role Description
Responsible for the engineering part of a major project.  Performs engineering work and applied research, development and design of new products.  Work includes design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices.  Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests.

Essential Responsibilities
•    Design electronic circuits & systems, including analog, digital, microcontrollers, and FPGAs
•    Creates software and firmware for electronic systems
•    Designs, implements, tests, and modifies product prototypes
•    Determines procedures for testing products and fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment
•    Evaluate electronics/electrical systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or to recommend changes in system requirements
•    Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
•    Performs tests, documents test results in an understandable manner
•    Understands the operation of customer plants and associated requirements
•    Writes production and test Q/A documents
•    Requires ability to design and execute test procedures

Successful candidate will possess
•    BSEE or equivalent experience
•    5+ years of experience designing electronic circuits and systems
•    OrCAD/Allegro experience required

Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

•  Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
•  Design, develop, code, test and debug software for performing diagnostics on hardware
•  Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
•  Integrate and validate new product designs
•  Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
•  Interface with hardware design and development
•  Assess third party and open source software


Requirements
•  BBS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering

•  At least 5 years proven experience in software engineering

•  Strong knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components

•  Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets

•  Solid programming experience in C/C++

•  Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems

•  Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems


Highly Desired Experience
•  Control Systems with high performance Digital and Analog Input and Output
•  EtherCAT communication protocol
•  QNX operating system
•  Embedded Linux
•  Expert knowledge in control strategies such as PID

Electronics Test Technician

•  Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies to the component level.
•  Develop and document test processes for electronic equipment.
•  Perform minor soldering and electronic repair.
•  Design and document minor electronics and cable assemblies.
•  Utilize various electronic test equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes and power supplies.

The successful candidate will possess an AS degree in electronics or equivalent.

Stockroom Clerk

The Stockroom Clerk, receives, unpacks, and issues materials and supplies in the stockroom. They perform a variety of inventory control and shipping tasks to support Digital Dynamic’s company goals.

The Stockroom Clerk:
•  Reads bill of materials to pull electronic parts and assemble a parts list.
•  Makes bins & enters location for all parts.
•  Responsible for making sure that material is returned to designated bin locations from kits returned to stockroom from production jobs.
•  Packages final product, interfaces with UPS and FedEx shipping software.

Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and basic computer skills.
