As the latest addition to DDI’s Fusion.IO Slot-Card family, the SIL 3 TC/RTD Slot-Card offers exceptional temperature acquisition performance alongside integrated functional safety, making it ideal for industries such as semiconductor manufacturing and display technologies. 

The SIL 3 TC/RTD Slot-Card integrates with DDI’s embedded temperature control solution, allowing customers to manage up to 64 temperature control loops directly on the Fusion.IO platform—eliminating the need for dedicated temperature control hardware, reducing system complexity, and cutting costs. This card also extends the platform’s functional safety capabilities into the analog signal domain, offering designers flexibility in optimizing thermal management systems.

  • SIL 3 Compliance: TÜV Rheinland-certified for IEC 61508 SIL 3 functional safety. 
  • Programmable Safe Temperature: Set safe interlock temperature setpoints using DDI’s Interlock Builder™ software. 
  • Software-Configurable Inputs: Supports eight temperature input channels, configurable for RTD and thermocouple types (K, J, R, T). 
  • High Precision at Fast Sampling Rates: 24-bit instrumentation-grade A/D converters provide precise readings at up to 250 Hz. 
  • Embedded Temperature Control Solution: Manage up to 64 temperature loops on the Fusion.IO platform without additional hardware.
