Scotts Valley, CA – May 19, 2025 – Digital Dynamics, Inc. (DDI), a leading provider of high-reliability EtherCAT I/O controllers, today announced a significant milestone in its global manufacturing strategy: the successful shipment of over 3,000 Safety I/O Controllers from its partner facility in Vietnam.
While DDI remains firmly rooted in its U.S. headquarters in Scotts Valley, California—where new product introduction (NPI), engineering collaboration, and domestic production are centered—the expansion into Vietnam marks a strategic move to meet growing customer demand in Asia and beyond.
The partnership with Spartronics Vietnam provides scalable, in-region manufacturing capacity, reinforcing DDI’s position as the semiconductor industry’s fastest source of SIL3 safety-rated I/O controllers. These shipments support both wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) and display fabrication equipment (DFE) OEMs seeking rapid deployment of high-reliability solutions.
“This milestone reflects our continued commitment to delivering speed, scale, and reliability to our global customers,” said Nir Merry, Chairman and CEO at Digital Dynamics. “The Vietnam facility not only enhances our production capabilities but also aligns with our core values of sustainability and operational excellence.”
The Spartronics Vietnam site operates in a LEED Gold certified, 270,000 square-foot facility equipped with a solar rooftop array four times larger than its previous location. This supports DDI’s commitment to clean energy and responsible manufacturing practices.
As DDI scales to meet increasing global demand, the company remains focused on delivering uncompromising quality and responsiveness to its OEM partners worldwide.
