Digital Dynamics Expands Fusion.IO Family with Launch of Four New High-Density Modules: Fusion 24 XL-8, Fusion 24 XL-4, RIM 24 XL-8, and RIM 24 XL-4

Scotts Valley, CA – April 28, 2025 – Digital Dynamics, Inc. (DDI), the industry leader in EtherCAT IO platforms, is proud to announce the release of four new additions to its Fusion.IO family: Fusion 24 XL-8Fusion 24 XL-4RIM 24 XL-8, and RIM 24 XL-4. These new modules significantly expand the capabilities of the Fusion.IO platform, enabling customers to further optimize system designs for higher performance, easier integration, and simplified troubleshooting.

The Fusion 24 XL and RIM 24 XL series modules are built on the proven Fusion 24 and RIM 24 products, which support benchmark IO density of up to 384 IOs per module. To allow expanded connectivity, these products extend the connection area up to 110%, allowing each module to support over 50 connectors. These products deliver unmatched flexibility for designers of control solutions for complex machines.

“Customers are optimizing their system designs by taking full advantage of Fusion’s high-density IOs,” said Nir MerryChairman and CEO of Digital Dynamics, Inc. “With the addition of the Fusion XL and RIM XL modules, customers now have even greater ability to streamline equipment interconnect design and dedicate connectors to signal type, resulting in more robust and easier-to-integrate equipment.”

Fusion.IO continues to lead the industry as the premier EtherCAT IO platform, featuring IEC61508 SIL3 compliance and graphical ‘drag-and-drop’ interlock programming, dramatically simplifying safety system development while ensuring maximum reliability.

The new Fusion 24 XL-8Fusion 24 XL-4RIM 24 XL-8, and RIM 24 XL-4 modules are now shipping and available for order. DDI’s expansion of the Fusion.IO family reinforces its commitment to empowering customers with best-in-class technology to meet today’s and tomorrow’s manufacturing challenges.
