Digital Dynamics Enhances Fusion Platform with Industry-Leading Integrated Temperature Control

Scotts Valley, CA – November 27, 2024 – Digital Dynamics Inc. (DDI) is proud to announce a groundbreaking enhancement to its industry-leading Fusion Platform with the integration of temperature control functionality. This latest software-enabled feature is designed to revolutionize equipment performance, simplify system integration, and reduce costs, delivering unmatched value to customers.

Traditionally, customers have relied on dedicated hardware to implement temperature control. Now, with DDI’s innovative integration of up to 64 temperature control loops into the Fusion EtherCAT IO controller, customers can achieve streamlined and efficient temperature management without the need for separate hardware.

The new functionality is further complemented by the Safe Temperature Control IO Card, which meets IEC61508 SIL3 compliance standards. This enables customers to implement functionally safe temperature control, ensuring enhanced safety for critical applications.

The Fusion platform supports a wide range of input and output signal options, including:

  • Inputs: Thermocouple, RTD, and 0-10 VDC
  • Outputs: PWM and 0-10 VDC

This versatile capability allows customers to customize temperature control for diverse operational needs while benefiting from reduced complexity in system wiring and integration.

“This is a significant industry breakthrough,” said Nir Merry, CEO of Digital Dynamics. “By integrating temperature control directly into the Fusion Platform, we are empowering our customers to improve equipment performance, simplify their systems, and lower costs, all while maintaining the highest levels of safety and reliability.”

The Fusion Platform with integrated temperature control is available now and poised to redefine how manufacturers implement temperature management in their systems.
